The Okanogan Highlands Alliance is dedicated to educating our members and the public about the threat of large-scale mining to the quality of our air, soil, and water, human health, wildlife, and natural ecosystems. It encourages and supports public participation that will increase protection of the environment. OHA will participate in decisions involving the integrity, sustainability and prosperity of the Okanogan and its environment and will take decisive legal action when necessary to protect against environmental degradation.
Okanogan Highlands Alliance became a Brainerd Foundation grantee in 2007.
