Wildlife Society Montana Chapter

The mission of the Montana Chapter of the Wildlife Society is to serve and represent wildlife professionals in all areas of wildlife conservation and resource management. The Wildlife Society has been influencing the future of wildlife and wild places, both in North America and worldwide, for over 75 years. Our members include nearly 10,000 professionals who manage, conserve, and study wildlife populations and habitats, as well as students pursuing degrees in natural sciences and supporters who help spread the word and take action on important wildlife and habitat issues. The Montana Chapter supports wildlife professional development, facilitates science-based management practices, and promotes public awareness and appreciation of wildlife statewide.

Wildlife Society has been a Brainerd Foundation grantee since 2015.
