Grantee Profile: Northwest Connections
Northwest Connections was founded in 1997 as a response to fragmentation of the Swan Valley and surrounding wildlands and to address the division between rural residents and the conservation community in western Montana. It engages in projects to help land managers and private land owners better understand, conserve and restore critical habitat and habitat connections in the Swan Valley and surrounding areas.
Recent Grant History:
2009 - $25,000 To assist efforts to conserve and restore Plum Creek lands in the Swan and Clearwater Valleys of Montana. Place-based Conservation

2008 - $10,000 To protect and restore habitat connections for rare species in the Northern Rockies. Grassroots Fund
