Founded in 1990, Futurewise is a statewide organization that brings citizens together to manage growth and stop sprawl. Futurewise works to promote healthy communities and cities while protecting farmland, forests and shorelines today and for future generations through its organizing and advocacy work, public education and legal program, and the technical support that it provides to local groups.
Futurewise was a Brainerd Foundation grantee from 2007 to 2012.
