Braided River partners with talented wildlife photographers and writers to create large-format books that celebrate unique wild places in North America. We believe that images and stories have the power to inspire individuals to take action to protect precious wild places that are in danger of disappearing. Our books are used by conservation organizations across the country to reach policy makers, thought leaders, and the public. Our books are published under the conservation imprint of Mountaineers Books - also called Braided River.
Braided River became a Brainerd Foundation grantee in 2014.
