From 1995 through 2020, we invested in more than 500 organizations across the Northwest, far more than we can list here. We are deeply grateful for the vision, passion, and hard work of each of these groups. No one does this work alone, and we thank the boards, staffs, volunteers, and supporters who made this work possible. Explore below to learn more about some of the groups we funded.
The Northwest Conservation Philanthropy Fellowship, founded by the Brainerd Foundation in partnership with Social Venture Partners Seattle, is a program designed for individuals with the resources and passion to become significant environmental philanthropists. Fellows dive deeply into environmental issues, develop a theory of change, and by the end of the program, make a significant financial contribution to an organization in line with those goals.
